Today kicked off the 6th season of the
Treasure Coast Junior Teen Anglers fishing
tournaments. The weather was great and the
Juniors caught a lot of nice fish. Welcome to
new Junior Teen Angler - Kayla Arnold. Her
grandmother drove down from Cocoa so she could fish
the tournament.
We had several notable catches - Andrew
Evans caught a 1lb 8oz. jack along with 6 other fish.
Jessica Eastland caught a very nice 1lb 9oz. trout and
3 snapper. Mackenzie Tressier caught a 1lb 9oz.
catfish. Trevor Walk caught a flounder that was
just short. Cash Roe had a 1lb. 2oz. snapper
along with 2 other fish. Michael Rochedieu
caught a snapper and pinfish. We had a total of
18 fish brought to the table.
1st place - Andrew Evans - Fairlawn
Elem. - Ft. Pierce
2nd place - Jessica Eastland -
Weatherbee Elem. - Ft. Pierce
3rd place - Michael Rochedieu - St.
Anastasia - Ft. Pierce
Biggest fish - Mackenzie Tessier -
Imagine South - Vero Beach
Each Junior that fished received a
goody bag from Teen Anglers.
Our friends - Gwen & Pat
donated
2 coolers full of cold bottled water.
They also
donated
each Junior that
fished in the tournament a Tackle Crafters bait
holder rig.
Thank you to Tammy Ward for always
weighing the fish and to Savannah Ward for helping
with the paper work and helping some of the Juniors
fish.
Our next from shore tournament will be
held on Saturday - October 29th. Make sure you
go online and get signed up for the tournament. ...Sign-ups
will go up on the Teen Angler website September 28th

IMPORTANT Questions about helping the Junior's catch a fish.
*You can cast the rod for them.
*You can help them hook the fish but
they have to fight the fish and bring it in.
*You can help by holding the rod tip
up for them.
*You can take the fish off the hook
for them.
*You can bait the hook for them.
You CAN
NOT catch the fish for them
and then let them weigh it in.
For
your safety you can not wade deeper than knee high.
Junior Teen Anglers is a family
fishing event which is supposed to be a fun event too.
Please help us keep it that way.
